Thursday October 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm,

I'll be speaking at the Fogelson Library's First Annual

Symposium on the State of Contemporary Comics.

at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design.

Also speaking will be 7000 BC members

Courtney Angermeier, Jeff Benham, and Brahm Meehan.

It's free and open to the public.

I'll have books, prints, and art available for sale at the event.

RAWKING @ TRICKSTER

TRICKSTER/COMICON INTERNATIONAL

This weekend I'll be attending Comicon International in San Diego Ca.

I'll also be appearing at Trickster across the street from SDCC.

Trickster is a brand new alternative event started by

the incredible Scott Morse and some of his Pixar buddies.

I'll be doing a signing at Trickster on friday from 2pm to 4pm.

I'll also be playing a set of music there saturday night at 10pm

opening for a great band, Kirby Krackle.

Pictured above is a small part of the drawing I did for the

Trickster exclusive art book. I also made a

limited number (15) of prints of this piece.

The prints are 13"x 19" giclee's on watercolor paper.

I then painted on them one so each print is individual, and exclusive.

They will be available at the Trickster store starting Thursday.

Admission to Trickster is free.

FRODO at MYTHCON

It's a show that celebrates fantasy in all forms, with a

specific focus on the works of JRR Tolkien, and CS Lewis.

My buddy Doug Tenapel is a genius cartoonist and graphic novelist.

You may have seen his books GHOSTOPOLIS, EARTHBOY JACOBUS,

or CREATURE TECH. He also created the video game

EARTHWORM JIM, and the Nickelodeon cartoon CATSCRATCH.

Now Doug is making a great online superhero strip called RATFIST.

He's posting a new page five days a week till it's complete.

OUTLAW TERRITORY 2

The western anthology Outlaw Territory 2 comes out today.

My buddy Shannon Denton wrote a story which I drew for it.

It's about a real life US Marshall named Bass Reeves.

The story was colored by the amazing Kelsey Shannon.

Above is page one of our story in black & white, and color.

A ton of amazing artists, and writers did stories for this book.

You should definitely go out and buy three copies.

It makes a great gift, and Christmas is only ten months away!
