This weeks Comic-Twart is the pirate queen Belit

from Robert E. Howard's Conan stories.

Here's my initial rough which was too elaborate

for the time available. I did a second, simpler rough which i liked.

COMICPALOOZA LIVE ART-2010

Here are photos of the two pieces I did at

this years Comicpalooza live art event.

There's also a photo of me working on one.

My neighbor at the show was the immensely

talented Huberto Ramos.

I am a huge fan of his work!

I was shocked, and honored, to find out

that he bought the smaller piece.

All the money went to charity,

and a great time was had by all.

I can't wait to do it again next year.
