These are all AWESOME!!! But so far... this is my favorite. I got a special place in my heart for the Man of Iron. (I love the little crinkle between his eyes, it's perfect!!!)
lebeau, these pieces are drawn in india ink on glossy card stock. the tones are done with chartpak markers (warm gray series). the board i use has a surface similar to a comic backing board, very slick. because of that the marker just sits on top of the paper instead of soaking in. it allows me to get a kind of faux watercolor effect. thanks for looking.
I have been a working cartoonist for twenty years. Among other things I draw FIREBREATHER, an infrequent comic book series I co-created with writer Phil Hester. It was adapted into an emmy award winning animated film for Cartoon Network. Recently I have drawn TMNT, and Mars Attacks for IDW. I live in New Mexico. It's a pretty cool place to be.

Is this in marker? I try and fail at markers every time I use them.
