TMNT #13
My first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes out this week.
To see a preview, go to COMICS ALLIANCE.
Please buy a million copies, and tell all your friends.
Thanks!
Yeah - awesome issue! It's sad to see Dan Duncan leave, but you seem like the perfect person to fill his place! (Both of you, though not in black and white, really exude an independent art style - which I always appreciate to see thriving in TMNT comics.)
Oh yeah - and Master Splinter going all mad-ninja in the issue was really shocking! But very welcome. Bringing back so many characters from the 80s cartoon, fans are always fearful the regular TMNT series would loose it's artistic and creative bent. Nothing like child abuse and scientific atheism to say this isn't for a teenage, and older audience.
thanks for the hi-five, peter. unfortunately, i was only hired to do four issues (13-16). there is a possibility that i may be doing more TMNT down the road, but for now #16 is my last issue. i really had an awesome time drawing the brothers!
I have been a working cartoonist for twenty years. Among other things I draw FIREBREATHER, an infrequent comic book series I co-created with writer Phil Hester. It was adapted into an emmy award winning animated film for Cartoon Network. Recently I have drawn TMNT, and Mars Attacks for IDW. I live in New Mexico. It's a pretty cool place to be.

thanks for the kind words, erik. i am definitely having a blast drawing the turtles. i hope you stick around. :)
Enjoyed your version of the TMNTs very much - finally a great artist back to give life to the Boyz in Green. I hope for many more to come.

Too bad. really. I will treasure these four issues of TMNT and have a look for more of your stuff, Andy.
my editor made it seem like there may be more TMNT work in my future, but nothing confirmed (fingers remain crossed). :)
