SILVER SURFER II

This is a drawing I did for the
Heroes-Con program book a couple of years ago.
I didn't like the way it turned out.
I ended up doing a completely new one.
In hindsight I think it turned out okay,
but I still prefer the drawing I ended up using.
You can see that drawing HERE ,
and then decide for yourself.
Stay cool people!

I agree the pose and composition of the other drawing are cooler. But they're both pretty special.

great picture - i took my kids to Indianapolis to the Children's Museum this week for Spring Break and they had a big exhibit on comics and one really cool Silver Surfer statue there -

Actually, I prefer this one. Yeah, the other one is a more "classic" pose for the Surfer, btu thie has a much bigger sense of urgency to it. And his body langauge and the ise of shadows even gives it a bit of a sense of dread. Every emotional piece, really. Great stuff, Andy!

Actually, i prefer this one too. I think the composition of the figure and planet are a lot more dynamic in this one.

That's just me though.
